Privacy Policy

The short version

There is nothing to collect, because the tools do not transmit anything. Your date of birth, category, qualification, height, chest and service details are processed in your own browser and discarded the moment you close the tab. There is no account, no login, no database of submissions, and nothing sold or shared.

What happens to what you type

The eligibility checker is a self-contained program that ships with the page. When you enter a date of birth and press the button, the calculation runs on your own device. The details are not sent over the network, are not written to cookies or local storage, and are not visible to this site or to anyone else.

This is also why the tool cannot show you your previous result. Nothing persists between visits. If that changes in a future update, this policy will change with it before the feature ships.

Server logs

The site is hosted on a managed platform that, like any web host, records technical information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp in order to serve pages and prevent abuse. These are ordinary access logs kept for a short period under the host’s own policy. They are not used to build a profile, not combined with anything you enter in the tools, and not sold.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no behavioural advertising, and uses no third-party analytics or tracking pixels. If that ever changes, this section will say so and name the service.

Outbound links

Pages here link to official commission and board websites so you can check a figure at source. Those sites are operated by their own owners and have their own privacy policies and tracking practices, which this site has no control over and no visibility into.

Children

These tools are intended for people old enough to apply for government employment. No information is knowingly collected from anyone, of any age, because no information is collected at all.
